University Journal of Student Project and Research (UJSPR) Volume 3, 2026 Abstract: This paper presents the design and implementation of a comprehensive Hotel Reservation Platform aimed at resolving the operational inefficiencies, double-booking conflicts, and auditing errors inherent in traditional, manual hotel management workflows. Developed hands-on during an internship through self-directed learning, the system is built as a secure 3-tier web application utilizing PHP (PDO), MySQL for relational database management, and a responsive Bootstrap 5 frontend. The platform incorporates advanced core features such as dual-nationality pricing matrices, automated room inventory controls, and verified transaction auditing (including 20-digit banking string validation) to ensure high data integrity and security. By fully digitizing the guest cycle-from accommodation browsing to secure payment receipt uploads-and empowering administrators with centralized management tools, the system successfully maximizes operational productivity and delivers a seamless, data-driven digital experience for the hospitality sector.
