University Journal of Student Projects and Research (UJSPR) Volume 3, 2026 Abstract: Traveling is defined as the movement of people from one geographical location to another for recreational, vocational and exploratory objective. The Friendly Trip Planner is a comprehensive web-based application designed to simplify and enhanced the travel planning process by providing an efficient platform for organizing and managing affordable trips. The system simplifies destination searches, compares options, estimates expenses, and manages trip details for effective planning. The system consists of two main components: a user-facing interface and an administrative interface. The user interface offers travelers easy access to travel information, including destinations, packages, accommodations, and costs, enabling them to explore options, estimate expenses, and plan trips. The admin interface allows management of data like bookings and payments, while also providing budget-estimation and booking management features for efficient planning. The Friendly Trip Planner integrates Java and Spring Boot for backend, Vue.js and Vuetify for frontend design, and MySQL for database management to facilitate affordable trip planning. It helps travelers organize their journeys within their budgets while enabling administrators to manage travel services and booking information more efficiently.
