University Journal of Student Projects and Research (UJSPR) Volume 3, 2026 Abstract: The Digital Catalogue System is a web-based platform engineered to modernize and streamline library resource management within an educational institution. This system aims to replace manual, paper-based tracking with an efficient digital solution, reducing operational overhead, minimizing data entry errors, and improving accessibility for both students and library staff. Key features include role-based authentication, comprehensive book cataloging, real-time transaction monitoring, and automated penalty management for overdue or damaged items. By integrating dynamic reporting tools and live communication channels, the system enhances institutional transparency and efficiency. Developed using modern web technologies, the platform ensures scalability, security, and a user-friendly interface, facilitating a seamless library experience for the entire academic community.
