University Journal of Student Projects and Research (UJSPR) Volume 3, 2026 Abstract: The Task Tracking System is a web-based platform developed to simplify and improve project and task management activities within an organization. The system provides a centralized platform for managing projects, tasks, users, roles, permissions, and task progress. It supports role-based access for Administrators, Managers, and Employees according to their responsibilities. The system allows managers to create projects, assign tasks, monitor task progress, and manage project activities, while employees can view and update their assigned tasks. It also provides reporting and notification features to help users track deadlines, identify overdue tasks, and stay informed about important project activities. By reducing manual work and improving communication and visibility, the system helps increase productivity and supports more effective decision-making within the organization.
