University Journal of Student Projects and Research (UJSPR) Volume 3, 2026 Abstract: This paper presents a Secure Voting System using IoT. The QR verification system is used to verify registered voters before they are allowed to vote. When a QR code is scanned, the system checks whether the voter’s identity is valid and whether the voter has already voted. If the verification is successful, the voter’s information is displayed on the dashboard, and the verified voter count is automatically updated. After successful verification, the voter can select one candidate from five candidates using switches. When the voter selects a candidate, the selected candidate is displayed on the LCD screen, and a voting receipt is printed using a thermal printer. The ESP32 processes and records each vote and updates the vote count for the selected candidate. The door to the room containing the Result switch will automatically open only after the designated voting period has ended. The administrator can display the total votes for each candidate and the overall number of votes using a Result Switch. The proposed system provides a simple and efficient solution for voter verification, electronic voting, result display, and receipt printing.
