University Journal of Student Projects and Research (UJSPR) Volume 3, 2026 Abstract: The proposed system is designed to enhance gate security, real-time communication, and classroom management by integrating Internet of Things (IoT) devices and communication technologies. The system incorporates RFID-based smart gate access control to identify authorized users and manage entry and exit securely using a dynamic timing mechanism. An automatic attendance system records student and teacher attendance, including entry and exit times, while role-based buzzer feedback distinguishes between students and teachers. In addition, ultrasonic and temperature sensors are used to monitor classroom occupancy and environmental conditions for automatic control of lighting and ventilation. The system also provides a real-time announcement function that delivers important messages, schedules, and emergency notifications through LCD displays. Attendance, gate access, and related system records are integrated with Google Sheets for centralized monitoring and management. Overall, the proposed system provides an effective IoT-based solution for improving campus security, attendance management, classroom automation, and real-time communication within an educational environment.
